I'm Alicia. I've had a camera in my hand since my parents gave me a 110mm film camera. I got my first 35mm when I was 10. I cut my teeth on SLR's with my Dad's Nikon 2000 and he took me to buy my first "real" 35mm camera at 16 before I went to Israel. I went digital in college and got my first DSLR when I made my way into journalism. My current DSLR is a Canon 7D mk ii and I love it. It may not be full frame, but I still love using it.
Texas as the day is long
Born, raised, and lived in Texas since the day I was born. I go out every spring and "run away" for a day to take bluebonnet pictures. Yes, I have a `17.3 hand oversized puppy dog (actually a horse) by the name of Bentley and I seem to have a knack for making friends with every feline I come across. Grew up with dogs, cats, rodeos and Bluebell Ice Cream.
Creating powerful memories
Animals leave pawprints, hoof prints, flipper marks, and an indelible foot print on our hearts. I still miss my childhood cat and dog, but others have moved in showing how love multiplies and adds to our lives instead of taking away from our memories. My hope is to provide you with lasting memories that you can look back on for decades.
